How to Root Tested And Country unlock Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on Android 7.0 Nougat [SM-G930F/FD & G935F/FD]G930FXXU1DPLT Android 7.0
It Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge has been latest updated to the Nougat version Samsung Experience 8 firmware. It comes with many new features and performance upgrades. However, upgrading to Android 7.0 Nougat via Odin may lose all the any customization and even the root the new Android OS version, specifically Nougat, comes with an encryption as a security and privacy measure. Hence, in order to get root access on S7 (Edge), you will need to flash an additional decryption no-verity-opt-encrypt package via TWRP. This will decrypt the latest Galaxy Nougat firmware.
1. Backup your device all data.
How To Root Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
Frist Download. Flash Tool,Samsung Driver, TWRP ,SuperSU
1 : Download Flash Tool Link . Odin3_v3.12.5 Download
2 : Download Driver Samsung Kies
3 : Download TWRP
4 : Download SuperSU
Enable Developer Option
Go to Settings>>About Phone>>
Then tap ‘Build number’ 7 times or until you get the message ‘You’re now a developer!’
Go back to Settings, choose ‘Developer options’. Find the ‘USB debugging’ option and enable it.
In the ‘Developer Option’ you will also find the ‘OEM Unlocking’ option, just enable it.
Make sure you don’t have Factory Reset Protection enabled in your Google account or you may never be able to boot again!
Install Samsung Driver
Install the Samsung Driver Restart your PC, then Connect your Galaxy J7 2016 Device with USB cable. It will configure driver automatically Connected Device.
Install TWRP And Recovery
Run as Administrator the Odin3.exe file
Click on Option and disable Auto Reboot
Now click on AP and browse
Now switch on your Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
Then Press and hold the Power + Volume Down + Home button simultaneously until its screen off and boot into a blue screen showing Warning
Now press Volume UP button to Continue…It will show
Now connect your Phone to PC via USB Cable
You will see that first box under ID:COM in odin is shaded mean driver properly installed
Now click on the Start button on Odin
It will few seconds, once its done, you will see green Pass
Once the flash done, you can pull the battery then place the battery back in.
Now hold [Volume Up] + [Home] + [Power] buttons until you reach TWRP recovery mode. If you end up in stock recovery, start again from step 1
Now it will ask for allowing modification, just swipe to allow otherwise the OS will replace TWRP once you boot!
Now go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Format Data -> yes (you need to type yes)
For safety make a backup of current ROM ( Google it if you have no idea)
Now tap on [Reboot] and select [Recovery]
It will reboot to TWRP Recovery
Now connect your phone to PC and transfer the UPDATE-SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742 .copy pc to sdcard
Now tap on Install and browse the UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76-20160630161323.zip file
Once you find the UPDATE-SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742 file just tap on it
Now swipe to confirm flash
Once the flashing process done, you will get successful message
Now [Reboot] -> [System]
Your has been rooted by Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
